Yankees 6, Twins 4 (13-10)
Frank Viola had a rough time with the Yankees today and he didn’t even last five innings in his start. He gave up four runs on nine hits and a walk with two strikeouts. Three of those nine hits were homeruns. Juan Berenguer had a decent game in a long relief outing. He gave up two runs in his four innings of work.
At the plate, Kent Hrbek did most of the damage for the Twins. He hit a two run shot, his third of the year. Al Newman and Tom Nieto each had two hits.
