Steve Lombardozzi homered twice and scored three runs as the Twins topped the Yankees. Gary Gaetti also went yard and that was his seventh of the season.
Bert Blyleven struck out ten and improved to 2-1 with the win. He gave up four runs on eight hits with two walks. Jeff Reardon threw a no-hit ninth to pick up his fifth save of the season.
