The Twins got both solid hitting and good pitching as they got right back to winning. Tom Brunansky was a perfect two for two with a homerun, two walks, two RBIs and two runs. Gary Gaetti went three for five with two runs and two RBIs.
Jeff Bittiger made his first start of the season and he picked up the win with seven solid frames. He gave up one run on six hits with five strikeouts.
