Twins Held to Five Hits In Loss to Angels

Angels 6, Twins 1  (57-52)

The Twins could get much done at the plate as John Candelaria held the Twins to a single run on five hits.  Kent Hrbek had the only extra base hit of the game with a double and Tom Brunansky singled and scored the lone run.

Bert Blyleven fell to 10-9 with a rough start.  He gave up six runs on seven hits and two walks with five strikeouts in five innings of work.
