Twins Held to One Hit In Loss to Rangers

June 26, 1987 at Arlington Stadium
Rangers 1, Twins 0  (42-30)

Mike Witt was just a little bit better then Frank Viola in the Rangers win over the Twins.  Regardless, a great start by Frank Viola went to waste.  He gave up one run on seven hits and one walk with six strikeouts in a complete game.

Roy Smalley singled in the second inning and that was the only hit that the Twins would get in the entire game.  Tom Bruanansky was the only Twin to reach base twice with two walks.
