Metrodome Memories

Twins 10, Red Sox 8  (19-18)

The Twins came out on top in a crazy game.  They took a 5-1 lead into the eighth only to see the Red Sox scored seven runs in the eighth.  Then Gary Gaetti and Tom Brunansky hit solo homeruns in the bottom of the ninth to send the game into extra frames only to have Kent Hrbek win it with a two run walk off homer in the bottom of the tenth.

Gaetti finished the game four for four and he scored three runs in the game.  Seth Ahterton picked up the win and he shut the Red Sox out in the final two frames.
